PAST PROJECTS

Wellbeing fund round one

The Waltham Forest Wellbeing Fund supports local people and grassroots organisations to deliver community-led projects that improve health and wellbeing across the borough.

The fund provides small grants to help turn local ideas into action. From wellbeing activities and peer support groups to creative projects and community events, the programme supports communities to strengthen social connections, improve wellbeing and build healthier, more resilient neighbourhoods.

The first round of the fund was delivered by Waltham Forest Giving in partnership with Waltham Forest Council’s Community Health Champions programme. It received 39 applications and awarded £7,216 to five community-led projects supporting residents across Waltham Forest.
